ProfiMail is an application for your everyday life. It is a communication solution for your mobile device. Wherever you go, you have your e-mail with you. With the program's user interface, you can see a great part of the message on the screen at a time, and easily navigate during reading. You can use ProfiMail for your professional work reading documents sent in messages, comfortably answer to sender, or send documents from the device. You can also use ProfiMail for being in touch with your friends, who use e-mail on a desktop computer. For example, you can immediately send photos taken with the phone's camera. The program was designed to be as simple as possible, while offering very easy control, and many useful functions, essential for comfortable work with your e-mail.

Nokia Money, which was announced in August, and is expected to launch in Q1 2010, is being shown off in the video below by Waltteri Karhusari at the Nokia “Way We Live Next” conference in Finland. The UI is fairly basic, but that’s do to the demo being done on a fairly low end device. Nokia Money’s target audience is emerging economies after all. It’s safe to say that Visa’s stuff is much more impressive, but sadly their solutions are due to hit the market at an even later point in time. Mobile Payments will be the next killer application, much like GPS was the killer application for smartphones in 2007/2008, but the question on everyone’s mind is when will Mobile Payments take off?

Opera have released a beta version of Opera Mobile for S60 smartphones. Sporting the same user interface as the recently updated Opera Mini, Opera Mobile provides an alternative browser to that built into the majority of handsets, and first impressions on the beta are good. Highlights include an easy to navigate tabbed browsing experience, a number of thumbnails cropping up to aid navigation, and a lot of performance tweaks. The Norwegian browser company are doing their best to make mobile browsing faster, so even without using the Opera Turbo feature (which involved server side compression) you'll notice there's a certain zip to bouncing around the Internet, with good on-screen feedback.

Firefox Mobile Beta is doing the rounds, and even looks like being the perfect choice for the Nokia N900 tablet when it ships in the next couple of weeks. What’s more, it looks like Firefox Mobile has found its natural home on Symbian on Maemodevices. Firefox is now officially five years old and while we’ve been hoping for over a year that that the mobile version of Firefox (originally known as Fennec) would be appearing on Nokia devices soon. Last week we revealed a rather good video of Firefox Mobile Beta in action on a Nokia N900 and it seems this won’t be the last instance.
