Details are a little spare on the ground at the time of writing but what is known is the Sharp’s newly announced FOMA SH705iII cell phone is a 1.7 GHz band device with full international roaming 3G capabilities and comes with a 2.8” 262K colour 400 x 240 resolution TFT screen, a 0.8” OLD 96 x 39 resolution monochromatic display housed under the primary TFT for displaying information such as the time, a 3.2MP camera and microSD card slot. And, of course, and integrated TV tuner.
Offering a purported battery life of 175 talktime or up to two hours of continuous TV viewing, Sharp’s FOMA SH705iII will be made available to customers of the Japanese NTT DoCoMo mobile network on what is reported to be an exclusive basis – so don’t expect the FOMA SH705iII to appear, certainly in this guise, out side of Japan.
