SISWare is the best tools for Symbian Application Install package builder. SISWare providing as freeware and usage limitation of this software described on License item. SISWare4.2 supports sisx and sis file creation and extraction for Symbian9.x and pre-version. This new version of SISWare added the function to automatic sign for Symbian9.x sis file when build. Which can sign with the predefined certificate or self-sign certificate. The certificate declares in pkg will be signed unless the promt to create self-signed certificate will show after the sis file has built. This make sure sis file that build with SISWare will be signed even self-signed.

Standard features including:

  • Edit SIS file or pkg script and re-build.
  • Compile sis file or pkg script.
  • Build sis file with multiple options.

  • Improve file openning for multi-level embedded 3rd sis file.

Release Note :

  • SISWare4.6 now support complex embedded sis file for 3rd sis file and new extraction management for each embedded components. Try it now!
  • Due to Symbian9.x sis file structures, embeded sis files will store in main sis package as another SISController and each SISController has its FileDataIndex. Some redundant source file may be stored as one DataIndex under some SISController. This released built of SISWare, these redundant source files will be determined as the same file in pkg script and even in extraction.

Symbian9.x Develper Certificate Request Tool:


This Certificate Request Tool is for developer to sign the Symbian application even for anyone who wants to resign the sis file for testing or private use only (IMEI restricted and some capabilities limited).
This tool creates certificate request file (.csr) and/or key file (.key). Then you submit this .csr file to Symbiansigned portal and get Certificate file (.cer) from it.
Finally you can use Private Key file (.key) which created once and Certificate file (.cer) which get from Symbiansigned portal to sign your sis file.
You can sign sis file by the application from Symbian named signsis.exe or use SISWare to sign your sis file.

SISWare Runtime Component

Introduction :

This is the runtime libraries (VB6 runtime) which require for running SISWare.
If the runtime error exists while running SISWare, please try to install the SISWare Runtime Component setup.
This may not require on some operating system environment that already installed the visual basic runtime then no need to install the runtime component.

Libraries to install :

  • Microsoft Component Category Manager (ASYCFILT.DLL)
  • CMDialog ActiveX Control (COMCAT.DLL)
  • Windows Common Controls ActiveX Control (MSCOMCTL.OCX)
  • Visual Basic Virtual Machine (msvbvm60.dll)
  • Microsoft (R) C Runtime Library (MSVCRT.DLL)
  • Microsoft OLE 2.40 for Windows NT(TM) and Windows 95(TM) Operating Systems (oleaut32.dll)
  • Microsoft (r) Script Runtime (scrrun.dll)
  • OLEPRO32 (OLEPRO32.dll)

These libraries will install and check for existing file on your computer and installer will not repalace the existing files.
